My Approach
I’m committed to learning, growing, and healing, and to sharing what I learn with others. I was introduced to Focusing in 1993 through a simple five minute exercise. The clarity and understanding that came with that one exercise led me to study Focusing both for myself, and to deepen my work with clients and students. Focusing has enhanced every aspect of my life and work in ways that I could never have imagined.
I enjoy working with people who are excited about learning and growing and who are open to moving beyond the familiar. In my years of doing this work, I’ve observed that those who have experienced physical, emotional, or spiritual pain are often most willing to open themselves to this work. Ultimately, change is only possible when we are able to evolve beyond our present limitations.
Everyone is unique. We all have different ways of learning and processing information. One-to-one sessions, workshops, and training programs are individually tailored to clients’ and students’ needs
Authenticity, warmth, and humor characterize my work. I model what I teach, providing examples from my own life that may be helpful in illuminating the process for you. A lifelong learner, I’m continually refining my teaching while weaving in the tapestry of life’s experiences. I look deeply into my heart and soul, and help others to do the same.
I’m committed to helping my clients and students learn how to access the richness of their inner language. And for my advanced trainees, to helping them to master the art of facilitating the process for others.
Respect and striving for excellence are high priorities. This means being responsive, accessible, and committed to your growth and learning. Calls and e-mails are answered in a timely manner, almost always within 24 hours, often sooner. Sessions and workshops begin and end on time.
I offer one-to-one sessions as well as training and workshops. Want to know more? Please contact me.
